Welcome to my new blog! I will be sharing all manner of things related to Dog Grooming & Boarding.
To kick things off, I want to discuss why dog grooming should be considered an essential part any dog’s life.
From young pups right through to their adult life, dog grooming is essential to your companion’s overall health and welfare.
Apart from the obvious benefits that come with dog grooming, such as making them look and smell great! Your k9 companion is getting a health check for any other anomalies that could be hazardous to them. It is your groomers job to keep a look out for any unwanted visitors such as ticks and fleas or irregularities or conditions in their skin and bring these findings to your attention, so that they can be treated as quickly as possible.
Furthermore, it is essential that your dog’s coat is brushed on a regular basis to prevent matting, which not only provides relief for your pet but prevents skin conditions from developing in the long run.
Should your dog’s coat get into a matted condition, your dog groomers maybe required to cut their coat shorter to bring some relief from the knots and matting, this will make all future brushing and grooming a far easier and more comfortable process.
